“Every life holds a chapter worth understanding. Every system holds a door worth opening.”

Books

Memoir

The Other Prison

Some prisons have walls. The most dangerous ones do not.

A memoir that explores the unseen prisons we build, inhabit, and break within — confronting the financial pressure, fear, secrecy, and shortcuts that led to confinement, and the slow work of rebuilding dignity and trust after release.

Nonfiction

Prison Break Without Escape

A firsthand view of prison economies, institutional opacity, and the architecture of reform.

A thought-provoking exploration of confinement, freedom, and the journey beyond release, examining how institutional systems function — and fail — from the inside.

Gujarati Edition

કેદ (Ked)

દીવાલોની આગળ... દીવાલોની પાછળ... દીવાલોની પેલે પાર...

The Gujarati-language edition of The Other Prison, bringing the memoir to readers in the author's mother tongue.

Novel

The Greater Comeback

Every setback is setting up a greater comeback.

A commercial thriller following Raghav Mehta through financial crime, prison, marriage, invisible workers, and systemic accountability — a fictional culmination of the questions raised across the author's nonfiction work, built for readers who want reform framed as a story of second chances.

Public-Interest Essays & Policy Writing

Alongside his books, Saurabh writes shorter public-interest pieces circulated to media, NGOs, CSR leaders, and policymakers — raising structural questions about reform without directing allegations at any individual, institution, or authority.

  • The Forgotten Educated Prisoner: The Blind Spot in Prison Reform and Post-Release Reintegration An executive reform review arguing that rehabilitation cannot be one-size-fits-all — and that the educated, professionally experienced prisoner is often institutionally invisible on both sides of the gate.
  • The Second Life Sentence Are the justice system and corporate walls exiling the educated prisoner? A pointed look at automated background-verification systems, CSR blind spots, and the double standard between blue-collar and white-collar rehabilitation.
  • Digital India Stops at the Prison Gate From UPI at tea stalls to paper coupons behind the bar — why India's digital transformation must reach the barrack floor, and what a closed digital prison wallet could fix.
  • The Cradle We Forgot to Swing A Janmashtami reflection connecting the infant Krishna's birth inside a prison cell to the unseen children living with incarcerated mothers in India today.
  • The Night I Realised I Was Not Alone A personal essay on solitude, confinement, and the quiet moment of realizing one isn't the only person carrying this kind of weight.
The walls may have changed. The isolation has not.
